Elbows Up, Canada.

Elect Blair Herbert

Cowichan-Malahat-Langford.
Standing strong, standing proud, for our riding, for our country.

The Threat Is Real. The Stakes Are Personal.

This Election Is Different

The threat is economic. It’s environmental.
It’s cultural. It’s personal.

Trump talks about us like we’re his property. Poilievre talks about him like he’s a friend.

This isn’t just noise from across the border – it’s an attack on who we are, what we stand for, and what we’re building.

And this election? It’s not just about who sits in the House of Commons. It’s about whether we’re ready to stand up, together, and say:

Not here. Not us. Not now.

This is our home. Let’s fight for it.

Local Priorities

A Stronger Cowichan–Malahat–Langford Starts With Your Vote.

Our communities aren’t just dots on a map – they’re homes, families, and futures. We need leadership that fights for the things that make life here work. From housing to healthcare, ferries to fisheries, these aren’t abstract issues. They’re the things that shape our lives, everyday.

Protecting Our Coast

Our waters, fisheries, and marine jobs are the lifeblood of this region. We need stronger protections against environmental threats and corporate overreach – and leadership that won’t back down.

When you or your family need a doctor, you shouldn’t have to cross your fingers or drive hours to find one. We’re fighting for better staffing, more local clinics, and a system that works for everyone.

In this Riding I feel as though there are not enough housing options for that somewhat forgotten part of the population, specifically, single income earners, low income earners and those just trying to get into the housing market for the first time. This Riding has an average home price of approximately $850,000. This price is far out of reach for so many. Both the Federal and Provincial governments need to invest in affordable housing options. The benefits of home ownership are clear – a feeling of pride, a feeling of community, the stability of a place to call home and owning an appreciating asset. This is a priority for me.

Whether it’s ferries, roads, or public transit, people in this riding deserve to get where they need to go without unnecessary delays, cancellations, or skyrocketing costs.

Reconciliation means action. It means investing in Indigenous-led projects, protecting land and water, and ensuring real partnerships in decision-making.

We Don’t Back Down - We Build Up.

National Vision

This Election Is Bigger Than Politics.
It’s About Canada.

We’re not just voting for an MP. We’re voting for the kind of country we want to live in. Right now, the stakes have never been higher. We’re standing up for a country that stands tall. A country that fights for its people, its economy, and its future. This election isn’t about left or right. It’s about fighting for Canada.

Sovereignty & Security

We’re not Trump’s bargaining chip. We need a government that will push back, defend our economy, and protect our place in the world.

A strong economy isn’t just numbers – it’s stable jobs, good wages, and industries that last. We’re investing in clean energy, innovation, and long-term prosperity.

Let’s not be deceived, the Canadian Conservatives and the U.S. Republicans are on the same side of the political spectrum. Candidates within the Conservative Party support Trump. It is only a Liberal government that can form government and will truly stand up for Canada, its values and its sovereignty. And Liberal Leader, Mark Carney, is the only Federal party leader with the resume to lead us through these challenging times.

It’s true, Canada must increase its military spending to meet our NATO commitments. But, let’s not forget that when the Conservative Party last formed government, defense spending peaked at only 1% of GDP and supports for Canadian veterans were cut. Since the Liberals formed government, military spending has increased to 1.49% of a larger GDP base. Further, the Liberal party has committed to additional investments in the military to protect our sovereignty and meet our NATO commitments.

I realize that Canadians are focused on and worried about the threat to our sovereignty and the impact on the economy, rightfully so. Further, the last thing on their minds might be the environment, as we struggle with affordability, but I ask that we not lose sight of this priority. At this time, I want to remind Canadians that small everyday actions matter – take reusable bags with you when you go to the grocery store, return cans and bottles, recycle cardboard and plastic with your curbside pick up, upcycle old clothes, shop at second hand stores and reuse containers before buying new ones. There are many environmentally friendly actions that we can take and, if we all did, we could have a significant impact on the environment. Small actions can have big impacts.

The CBC isn’t just news – it’s our voice, our culture, and our connection to each other. Conservatives want to tear it down. We’ll fight to protect it.

AI is reshaping industries, workplaces, and our everyday lives. We need to invest in research and innovation – but we also need smart regulations that protect workers, privacy, and democracy.

Mark Carney Has Our Back - And Blair Has His.

A Prime Minister Worth Fighting For

Blair Herbert will bring our voice to Mark’s table, and bring Mark’s plan home to our riding.

Mark Carney isn’t just another politician. He’s a world-class economist who’s kept economies stable while the world shook. As Prime Minister, he’ll bring experience, principle, and actual leadership – the kind Canada needs when the pressure’s on.

Poilievre is running on slogans. Carney is running on substance.

This Riding Can Make the Difference.

Elbows Up, Canada

For those who came before us. For those who come next. We stand our ground.

You’ve seen the headlines. You’ve felt the shift. This isn’t business as usual, and it’s not just about who wins.

It’s about what kind of country your kids will grow up in.

Do we let Trump dictate our economy? Do we let Poilievre dismantle what we’ve built? Or do we put our elbows up and fight for something better?

The path forward starts here. With this riding. With this vote. With Blair.

Rooted in service. Grounded in community. Ready to fight for Canada.

Blair Herbert

Blair Herbert isn’t a career politician, and that’s exactly why we need him now.

Blair was born in Ottawa into a military family and raised with the belief that service comes before self. He spent his early years in Edmonton, where he finished school and launched a career dedicated to public service. He served as an RCMP officer, an investigator for the Ombudsman, and later as an Immigration Officer.

For the past 40 years, Blair has been a small business operator. He’s faced the same challenges as many Canadians, especially during tough times like the pandemic when his business was forced to shut its doors. He knows what it means to make payroll, to lose sleep over rising costs, and to rebuild.

Blair now lives in the Cowichan Valley with his wife, where they enjoy life on their farm and take pride in being part of this community. With his four kids grown, he’s throwing his full weight behind something bigger: making sure this riding has a strong voice at the national table.

Raised by parents and in-laws who believed in working for the community, not just expecting from it, Blair carries that same ethic forward. He’s not here for partisanship or politics as usual. He’s here because Canada is facing a serious threat, and Cowichan–Malahat–Langford deserves someone with the backbone to fight back.

"This election isn’t about posturing. It’s about protecting our sovereignty, building a stronger economy, and uniting the country when it matters most."
